For sure, there are countless amazing bars in London and a blog post about every single one of them would be endless. It would take days to make a list and while listing, hundreds of new cool bars would open their doors. Therefore, I just want to introduce some extraordinary spots which I personally love.

Extraordinary Bars in London
1. Cahoots
Extraordinary because: After asking for the Captain, a wooden staircase leads you to the old air-raid shelter. Once you´re in, it´s 194 and you are in a retro tube station. All employees play their roles in their fancy dresses perfectly. Unfortunately, after two hours you have to leave post war London. The extraordinary cocktails are served with popkorn and water while listining to some 40th music. If possible make a reservation! Otherwise be prepared to wait a while.

2. Barrio Shoreditch
Extraordinary because: The bar has different, colorful themed rooms. For example, you can sit in a retro caravan with a view at the La Boca district in Buenos Aires enjoying a cocktail. Additionally to the one in Shoreditch there are more Barrio Bars in Soho, Angel and Brixton.

Extraordinary because: Singing waiters who suddenly jump on the table to start an amazing live performance. You better dress up a little, otherwise you won´t get in.

4. Madison
Extraordinary because: On the roof of the shopping mall "One New Change" is a bar / restaurant called Madison. You will have a fantastic view over the St. Pauls Cathedral, no matter if you sit outside or inside.

5. Zeitgeist @ the Jolly Gardeners
Extraordinary because: The JOLLY used to be one of Charlie Chaplins local pubs. Moreover movie scene of Snatch and Calcium Kid were filmed here. Today London´s first German Gastro-Pub is known under the name "Zeitgeist". Additionally to many German Beers and liquors, German food like Leberkäse, Schnitzel, Schweinebraten, Haxn, Sauerkraut and Currywurst is served. On Saturdays football matches of the German "Bundesliga" are shown.

6. Ye Old Cheshire Cheese
Extraordinary because: It is one of the oldest Pubs in London. Famous writers like Charles Dickens & Mark Twain liked to spend some time here. Not very surprising because as soon as you´re in you feel the cosy atmosphere.

Extraordinary because: The oldest wine bar in London offers a great selection of wine in a cosy cellar vault. White Wines, red Wines, Rosé Wines, Sparkling Wines, Champagne, Fortified Wines, Organic Wines or Vegan Wines - there's something here for every wine lover.

Extraordinary because: Its an adult playground with one million balls, retro sweetie cocktails and a ball waterfall. During weekdays you may get some tickets for free but on the weekend at night tickets cost approx. 15 GBP.
